I am a sixteen year old girl who has been boyfriendless for almost two
years. Am I missing something? Am I doing something to turn off the opposite sex?
How do I meet a nice guy? Or even a halfway decent guy?
Why is the world so full of male losers all of a sudden? Or that all the
good guys are taken and hopelessly in love with someone else?
Give me some advice, Jimbo. Being myself has not worked out at all.

You're sixteen years old--it will happen for you.
In the meantime, circulate and put yourself in positions where you have a chance to meet people and get to know them a little bit--drama club, hiking club, yearbook club--anything where you have a chance to talk to people. When I was in high school (a long, long, long time ago), band was where the action was--a combination of long bus trips and regular practice sessions, I guess.
After you feel comfortable talking with someone, why not do the unthinkable--ask him out.
